Bram & Bluma Appel Salon, on the second floor of the Toronto Reference Library, 789 Yonge St, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.



Paid parking lots are on Cumberland Avenue, Yorkville and Asquith Avenue. On Sundays there is little competition for spots, and some have reduced rates.


The Library and Salon are fully accessible with elevator access to the show.



Philip Akin

Philip Akin is an award-winning director, and is presently the artistic director of Toronto’s lauded Obsidian Theatre Company.

He has used and collected fountain pens for many years, and is the organizer and driving force behind Scriptus.

Lisa Cox

Lisa Cox lives in Cambridge, Ontario with her husband, cat, and way too many pens. A long-time member of the Cambridge Pen Club, she has been a fountain pen user and collector for many years. Her collection reflects her diverse interests but is particularly fond of anything made by Lamy.

When not discovering a bottle of ink she forgot she bought or trawling fpn, Lisa can be found at the University of Guelph and Ontario Veterinary College, where she teaches history and serves as the Curator of the C.A.V. Barker Museum of Canadian Veterinary History.

She doing logistics, floor management, and volunteer coordination for Scriptus.

Priscilla Yu

Priscilla Yu discovered fountain pens only a year ago, but now considers herself fountain pen obsessed, especially after attending the DC Pen Show for the first time this past year. She’s a fan of sheeny Sailor inks in the diamond style bottles, broad nibs, and anything stationery related from Japan. When not playing with all of her pens, she’s a certified yoga instructor who enjoys photograph and dreaming up her next travel adventure.

She is coordinating the Scriptus raffle.
